My wife and I fell into this place on our first night of our week stay in Luang Prabong. The menu can be best described as very tasty, high quality bar food. We had two orders of pork sliders (3 in a serving) and a Greek salad (on the small side, but ingredients were fresh). For drinks we had a whisky sour (my wife said it was the best she's ever had) and I had the Belgian blonde beer in a bottle.

We went back two nights later when they were sponsoring a fund raiser for the local hospital. We ate two orders of the teriyaki chicken legs (smallish, but 5 pieces to an order), mac and cheese (3 ramekins to an order), and a plate of brownie bites (5 pieces) for desert. For drinks, whiskey sour again (of course), a "new" old fashion (made with honey and cinnamon), and several glasses of white wine, a crisp Spanish and an excellent Australian Sauvignon Blanc.

100% of the profits for the night went to the Luang Prabong Children's Hospital. The place was chock full of locals and tourist alike right to closing. A good time was had by all!

Hey both! What a fantastic review! And thank you so much for joining us on the big party. It was a great night and we were so pleased to raise all that money for charity. I'm just waiting to get your VIP cards sorted and will distribute them to the people you have asked us to before the end of the week. So kind of you to make donations like that. Hopefully we'll see you back in 525 in the future.

This bar is such a nice surprise. I feel like you are in another big and trendy city like NYC, London. Clean, cosy and beatiful decor. Great soundtrack. Best mojitos outside south America! The manager, Emma, is soooooo good and profesional, but making you feel like home, and introducing everybody in the bar... And... Last but nota least... The Lemmon tart from dessert is 'something'!!

Nice little place with great ambiance; best of Ray Charles playing in the background, superb photography inside, nice patio with lanterns, etc. However, we found the food lackluster. The buffalo sliders were ok, the aubergine caviar was quite tasteless (not smoky as advertised - unlike any baba ghanoush you can buy in supermarkets. The shrimp balls were the best of the lot, spicy sweet and well complemented with the basil leaf. All in all, it was OK, but definitely not the best restaurant in LP.

Cocktails are excellent tasty fruity. Whatever you like you will find it. Food is a mix of international and asian. Again tasty and surprising. The chocolate ganache is a must. The peanut and spicy chicken legs perfect. The filled bananas a sweet surprise. Prices a little upper than elsewhere in the city but quality is a must for the same city, you have to pay what you get...

Emma, Andrew and their team are perfect guests. Go there without a doubt you will love it.

We went to 525 3 times while visiting Luang Prabang. We kept coming back because the mixed drinks were of the highest quality, yes pricey but exceptionally well made. The tapas style snacks were also quite well done. Each dish is served as 4-9 individual pieces so sharing and mixing and matching is quite easy. Empanadas are quite good as is the Patatas Bravas, Chocolate mousse for dessert is delightful as well.

The inside of 525 consists mainly of luxurious banquettes, outside seating is very comfortable and well laid out.

Highly recommended!
