Read about this spot in the Lonely Planet. Arrived from the airport in Luang Prabang and hoped for a room. We got the last one. This is a small guesthouse located right on the Mekong River. The owners speak English and are very helpful. There are about 10 rooms. The one we stayed at was small (basically, fit a queen size bed) but it had a nice private bathroom and is perfect for sleeping after a long day in Luang Prabang. It only cost $12 a night and was well worth it for clean sheets and it also has AC!
