Not the safest bridge im sure but it will get you across. It seems to be gone now 2016, taken away by the river but there is a free boat that will take you over.
this is like a joke - a small bridge that you have to pay for to even step on it. it looks better from the street than if you get there . not worth a penny
Be aware the bridge is not always up, as we visited in early Sept and the bridge had been taken down for the holiday boat races.
We went across this bridge quite a few times there is a cheap hand made jewellery shop on the other side plus you can go for a walk around a area where more of the locals live you pay a small fee to cross the bridge and on your ticket which you use to come back across it says the money is used to rebuild the bridge after wet season we actually saw the river nearly cover the bridge in our time there as soon as the water gets too high they fence the bridge off although that didn't stop a few of the locals climbing the fence to go fishing
The bridge has been removed for the rainy season so don't go looking for it! There was rumours of a boat charging to take you across to the other side but with the BBQ restaurant over there shut for all Sept there was no lifts across.
Its just a ordinary bamboo bridge across the river. Nothing much to see or do here. Need to pay a small fee at the entrance that goes to the community that maintains this bridge.
