Beautiful falls, lovely turquoise water. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Need to be agile on your feet

“Very relaxing day out. Take your swimwear”
Reviewed February 24, 2014 via mobile

Booked through a travel agent. Very reasonably priced. The driver had a sense if humour and looked at the average age on board and drove us to the top. The falls are spectacular but there is a narrow slippery dirt tract to the top which should be avoided unless you have very good grips on you shoes. Half way down there is a beautiful milky blue pool which is just perfect for swimming. Cool but refreshing. Take care getting in it is very slippery. There are two trees close together which are act as a good aid to entry and exit. At the next pool down there are basic changing rooms but the pool here is not as good for swimming. At the bottom they have bears caged in a ridiculously small enclosure. Detracted from the beautiful ambiance. Tour time is 2.5 hours. Good trip very relaxing and tranquil

“Excellent way to cool off”
Reviewed February 24, 2014 via mobile

A little crowded though still fun. It feels a lot cooler than in the city. The water has a fascinating color and might be a bit cooler than you expect, but that makes it an even better experience on a hot day.

“Absolutely BEAUTIFUL”
Reviewed February 24, 2014 via mobile

Beautiful..... Absolutely worth a visit and swim! You will not regret it! You can spend the entire day going to different parts of the waterfall and swimming. There is also a bear sanctuary there which you can visit on the way. Don't forget your camera for some unbelievable pictures.

“Go for the bears”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

We had done the Mekong river cruise to the Pakou caves the day before which was 6x as expensive and not worth the money. We took a minibus from the main street (with other tourists) out to the falls - took about 60 mins and cost US9 for 2 of us. Entrance to the falls was not expensive and even though we did not swim (only the young backpackers seemed to be doing that) the walk was easy and enjoyable. the shade and cascading water falls were a welcome relief to the heat. the highlight was just as you enter there is the Bear Rescue Centre set up by a Perth woman. There you see many sun bears who are happily playing, eating and relaxing in hammocks. This was worth the admission to the falls.
