I have never seen water such a gorgeous aqua blue. We swam in the upper falls. Walking down, I was glad to have avoided the throngs of backpackers surrounding the 'Tarzan' rope. The bears were a cute surprise!

I have been to this waterfall before 4 years back, but going there a second time is still an experience that I would remember. Some of the pools are perfect for swimming and although there are no bathing facilities around this area, the changing room would serve the purpose well. The changing room condition is pretty terrible and in fact, during my time there, I caught a local teenage boy peeing in the changing cubicle. Overall, if you have time at Luang Prabang and want to see some of its best natural landscape, this is a good choice.

Worth visiting . About a 45 minute tuk tuk through nice rural scenery. Falls were day to walk to, slippery path when wet. Beware the fish that nibble your feet in the falls ,a strange sensation but saves laying for the privilege. Lots of different falls, swimming pools and the bear sanctuary to visit on the way back. Basic toilet facilities at entrance

Well worth the visit. The falls are very photogenic, and the pools cascading down from the falls were stunning. The two pools you could swim in were superb, really enjoyed that swim. Only downside was the fish nibbling at you

Arrived at the falls at 8.30am - BEST time to go. No one there, had the whole place to ourselves.

Give yourself at least an hour to walk around all the levels of the falls, it just keeps getting better and better the further up you walk.

Kuang Si Falls are ten times better than Tad Sae. If you want a nice relaxing trip - visit here!
