“Absolutely beautiful, maybe the most beautiful waterfall in Loas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

There are many way to visit Kuang Si Falls, you can hire tuk tuk for private or join a van at 200THB or 50,000kip per person

Even this month Kuang Si Falls has less water but still worthy (Lucky me that I have seen Kuang Si Falls in many seasons and enjoyed different atmosphere.

The water was a clear turquoise blue, you can swim at the lower levels. If you don’t want to swim you can clime up to enjoy the view and atmosphere as well

“Just beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

Wow this is possibly the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen. The blue coloure from the minerals is just spectacular, the water is cool and very refreshing at this time of year. It was a great place to rest, we visited on a Sunday so there were many local families enjoying a day out. Made extra fun by the rope swing into the deep blue pools!
We were lucky enough to arrive to the rescued bear shelter at feeding time to see them active and enjoying themselves. I am not at all a fan of animals in captivity but these bears have been rescued from poacher and given a second chance at life. They have a good environment, are cared for well and all appear healty and happy. Please take some spare cash for a donation, not only will it help care for the bears but it will help run education programms to help stop the cruelty of poaching.
A great day out, worth the hour tuk tuk ride.

“Beautiful but Crowded”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

If you can get there early in the morning or late in the day, highly recommended otherwise you get to explore, swim, climb with the hundreds of other tourist. The water color is amazing. I highly recommend that you hike up the falls as far you can get, few people and a great view of the falls and valley.

“Spectacular”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

A fantastic way to spend a day (or half day). Beautiful place to be on a hot summer day - go for a swim in one of the swimming holes or do some climbing and exploring, or visit the bears. The water is a stunning shade of light blue due to the limestone. Plenty of food stalls. A great day out!
