This hotel was our saviour. We had two bad nights in two different hotels preceeding this one. The staff here were very helpful and had us checked in in no time. The rooms all seemed quiet and very clean. The swimming pool was brilliant and much needed in the heat.

The only let down was breakfast. This hotel was the most expensive on our SE Asia trip, and had the worst breakfast by far. It is all sitting ourside in the heat, pre-cooked and soggy, and half of the trays were empty and not being refilled even though it was still early.

The hotel is located a couple of km away fromt he town centre, but this is walkable in about 20-30 mins, or there are tuk tuks everywhere.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the stairs.

This is a rather cold hotel, the staff is friendly but quite distant. It is situated not far from the center, which can easily be reach by foot. It has a nice swimmingpool, but the water was very cold. Luckily for us, we are very brave, so we took a dip... The rainshower was excellent... for people under 1,60 m. Bad luck for me, I'm over 1,80 m. If the management succeed in giving the hotel a more personalised touch, it can easily reach 4 tripadvisors bullets!

We spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and service quiet good. breakfasts were excellent. Plenty of local fruits. the hotel is close to the main town.

Room Tip: ask for a room with balcony so that you can over look the beautiful scenery.be sure to get up early one morning so that you can feed the monks on there way to the temples

Chitchareune Mouang Luang hotel has a good location in the charming town of Luang Prabang, Laos. The room we had was very clean and looked recently renovated. The staff at the desk is very helpful with helping capture the Internet signal which is elusive in Laos. Breakfast on the garden verandah was as we ordered and very nice. There were several people enjoying the clean pool early and the grounds are well tended. The only negative comment I could make is that we had to ask for the lady to clean the room very late afternoon. The lobby furniture could use some refinishing and cleaning.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper room overlooking the garden.

The 6 of us had a great experience at the Chitchareune Muang Luang hotel in Luang Prabang. Gorgeous gardens and pool waited for us in the sun to refresh after a day in the wonderful town. The rooms and the bathrooms were large and comfortable, the hotel is in a quiet street , yet walking distance from everything and the staff was very sweet and helpful ! We will be back!

Room Tip: ask for the second floor
