Pretty little falls. I was slightly concerned by the elephant riding in one of the pools. I suggest you visit here before Kuang Si Falls, as they are far more impressive.

This is the smaller of the two famous waterfalls in Luang Prabang but I thought it was great. The river water is brown and disgusting but, at these falls, it at least looks a little bluer. There are many levels to the falls where you can swim. Because the water still is a little murky, it's hard to see rocks and stuff so you'll end up with a lot of stubbed toes. Despite the little kids running around and jumping off the falls, it does seem a bit dangerous with a ton of rocks and a strong current. If you're careful, though, it's a very fun place to spend a few hours cooling off. This is also where 'Flight of the Gibbon' ziplining takes place so bring some extra money for that if you're going.

The falls are very fun to climb up and swim in, a good place to spend an hour or two. There is a rope swing off one of the falls but be careful because it doesn't drop you into the deepest part.

Great for some pictures. It's even nicer having to get there by a boat, and if you were keen you could make a day of it. Nice little pools, it looks like another world. You can do zip-lining there if that's what it takes to get you going. We just swam and enjoyed life. Hire a bike and do this and the other fall in the same day, plus the scenery on the way out is beautiful.

Had a most enjoyable visit. We walked up as far as we could and the views from each spot were beautiful. Did not swim in the pools, but watched others have a lot of fun. Nice outing!
