The room was fab for the price and the breakfast was superb but the owners were away when we were there so maybe this review isn't fair however the person left in charge was useless. He wasn't able to tell us basics like where and at what time is the monks food giving ceremony in the morning? Having said that if you are independent, have a good guide book or happy to ask other tourists, the hotel was great. It was peaceful, very clean and not far to walk to night market, Phu si Mount or Utopia pub. We had to hire bikes as there were none available from the hotel. The owner appeared back on our last morning and the whole atmosphere changed. He couldn't have been more accommodating so I've rated this hotel very good in anticipation that his presence would have made it so.

Room Tip: Room 12 upstairs was lovely.

Was picked up at the airport (for a fee) on time without having to wait, the lovely driver even spelled my name right. Great start! :) Cute little town, chickens crossing the road as we left the airport. Room was beautiful, had a bath tub, air conditioner that cooled the room quickly. Bed comfortable. The room I was put in had a balcony that covered the front of one side of the hotel (there's two different building in the compound) overlooking the street. Big windows. Though not located at the centre of town, is a very short walk to everything, 5 minutes to the night market and the town centre; which isn't so bad when you stuff yourself (me) with good food from the night market. Lady at the desk was lovely and the manager was helpful. Breakfast was good enough and included. Enjoyed my stay very much and would stay here again

Fantastic air conditioning! So hot and humid in Luang Prabang that having a cool haven to come back to is great. My room was upgraded for free, loved the breakfast, loved the hot shower. Wifi was only available outside the rooms which was a nuisance in the evening when the Mosquitos were biting. Free water but no kettle in the room. You can purchase cold drinks on site but it would be nice to be able buy a cup of tea or coffee as well as it's a long walk to the restaurant area. The room was big but not huge and the bathroom adequate with the shower over the bath. The bed was certainly firm and the pillows were comfy. Room cleaned daily. Quiet area but in the heat, I probably would have booked something closer to town if I had realised the distance sooner.

Room Tip: None of the rooms have wifi. Sleep can be disturbed in the ground floor rooms behind reception but t...

Luang Prebang is fairly small and easy to walk everywhere, so location is fine for this hotel-only 10mins walk away from the grand palace. The staff were very friendly, although the younger ones didn't speak English very well. The room and bathroom was lovely, very comfortable. Good value for money. I would stay here again.
