“The most important bit of history you will ever learn”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

I am not one for Museums or history but this place blew me away. The things that these people have been through it is amazing how happy and friendly they are and so little of their history is known or taught in Western world. This place brought me to tears and changed my world forever. Please visit, learn about the UXO (unexploded bombs) that are still killing people 40 years later, your visit will help make this country safe again

“Very interesting and sad at the same time”
Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

After reading the reviews on here, we decided to take a trip there. We found it very easy to find as we walked. Its only 10-15 min walk from city centre. It was interesting to discover the scale of devastion that the USA has commited to Laos. Made me sad to find out about the damage. Worth a look round as i was unaware of any of it.

“amazing place”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

A bit hard to get there, as tuk-tuk driver had no idea where it is but eventually found it, but it turned out to have break between 12-13 am, but it is worth waiting- nice cafe not far away. Place is very informative and descriptive boards will guide you through place. Admission free, but I personally think it is a decent thing to give a donation or at least buy a tshirt, just because of the amazing work they do and the great help they bring to Laos society. A must go in Laos, even if you already have been to COPE in Vientiane.

“Informative and disturbing.”
Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

This centre is only small but packed with information, for me it is hard to believe that this level of bombing could have occurred. To hear that if they continue to work at the current pace it will take 100 years to rid their country of uxos is terrible. On a daily basis a Laotian is killed or hurt by an uxo and sadly many of these victims are children.I have great admiration for the clean up teams and disgust for those who sprayed this country with bombs leaving 80 million unexploded devices.

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

If you have ever wondered about unexploded bombs the where why and how then don't miss this place.
Well put together with out going over the top. Allow yourself an hour to an hour and a half .
You will not believe the extent of the problem or the amount of bombs dropped on Laos until you visit this unpretentious hidden gem.
