Came here for lunch and again for dinner. Very good food. Cerviche and lime and basil panna cotta were delicious!

We came here a little off the cuff after our plan for the evening fell through and the skies opened!

Our French waiter was lovely and very welcoming, I loved that the menu flexed and had a good read through their blackboard choosing the cheese board and a couple of curries.

Curries were very tasty, cheese board could have done with a third cheese, however no doubt these things aren't the easiest to source in far out lands!

Wish we had been in town longer to try some of the other dishes, very nice eve sipping wine and watching everyone else run pat in the rain!

Thank Hannah K

My brother and I dined and had drinks here most nights of our stay in LP. The owners Tibault and Mao are a young French couple who do an amazing job from delicious food to service with a smile. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed with a french/asian twist in the decor. The menu is ample with what was fresh that day at the market, which is always good to see ( not 10 pages, like some!)
We had the stuffed tomatoes and it reminded me of my grandmothers cooking, wholesome and full of flavour and love. The staff are excellent and very attentive. Take a seat on the verandah and enjoy something from the wine list and watch life go by. I wish Tibault and Mao all the best and hope to see you again one day soon......maybe in OZ?!? Cheers Ingrid

We visited Tangor on most days of our stay in Luang Prabang. They have a blackboard menu with daily specials and everything we tried was delicious. This is a great place to sit in the evening watching the world go by.

This restaurant has only been established around 2 years and is run by a French husband and wife team from Paris, the wife doing the cooking and the husband performing front of house duties. It is easily identified by the cane furniture on the patio.
Although the menu is limited, 2 or 3 starters, around 6 main dishes and a couple of desserts, the food is of high quality and the presentation excellent. There is a good selection of imported wines but we found the prices on the high side for our budget. Even the local beer, Beer Lao, was higher than that found in restaurants specialising in Lao food. The décor was charming and the quiet background music added to the ambience. The two waitresses who served our table were most helpful and efficient.
A good choice for a special occasion.
