“Cozy & Exquisite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

I stayed 3 nights in Burasari Heritage hotel. It was a beautiful, exquisite & cozy wood structure hotel, full of colony sense of touch mixed with contemporary style. I never expected there's such hotel in Luang Prabang until I checked in. Hotel service was good, the complimentary breakfast was enjoyable. I booked the room with balcony which is spacious, and you can enjoy the river scene in the quite and peaceful afternoon. The location is good as well, it located in the heritage old town, 5-10 mins walking distance to the Vat XiangTong Temple, the night market and the royal palace. It's a more than 5 star hotel stay experience, I'd love to recommend this hotel to all of my friends.

Stayed here for 3 days and was really impressed. The breakfasts were superior than most 5 star hotels that I have stayed at and the service was fantastic especially from Nok who was overseeing the place.Nothing was too much trouble. The location is fine which is on the river right in the centre of the old town but quiet at night. The room was spacious and clean and had great décor. Will definitely recommend this one to my friends and will come back again.Well done guys you deserve to give yourselves a pat on the back.Adam Sadil Australia.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a balcony ,ps get your washing done down the street as the hotels laundry service...

Our first impression to this hotel was not quite impressive. Since we literally informed them beforehand that we require a room with separated bathroom, but there was some misunderstanding. Thank to the GM that she tried to solve the problem professionally and took care of us very well. all the staffs are nice and helpful. The location is next to the river Khan and not far from Wat Xiengthong. The hotel is newly renovated, very nice interior design with wooden touch. The room is not big but spacious. Love the bed and pillow very comfy not too hard not too soft. The package we booked also include free mini bar. The con of this hotel is the bathroom, which is open plan design, Which I thought this kind of design would be perfect for couples or honeymooners.

Room Tip: room 503 has a balcony that overlook river Khan. when you leave the room you have to lock the door u...

This is a new hotel on the Nam Khan river edge on the quiet side of town. We did a thorough check of hotels (as we were in a dreadful one) and we have just loved it for the last 11 days and hate to leave. Just minutes from town. Fabulous complimentary breakfasts outside above the river with attentive staff. Free mini bar. Excellent wifi connection. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. If you can afford it, room 503 is a winner - no rooms either side, only below and behind - a balcony and a great view of the river, locals, monks and tourists passing by below. As my wife says, the beds were scrumptious, pillows a dream, and towel and bathroom accessories right up to the mark. Loved the exquisite woodwork and great aircon. A lot of thought has gone into the construction, facilities and service. A very clean and quite street. A door on the toilet would be an advantage, but other than that a winner of a place to stay.

Room Tip: Room 503 is the best we think.

Location is good; close to the river and the main strip so lots of quite bars for a read or a 5 minute walk for more lively places.

Love the french shutters on the windows (and curtains over these), if like me you like it to be pitch black when you go yo sleep this is perfect!

Furniture is stylish and well thought out, hints of the colonial with a modern twist. The bed is awesome especially the pillows. Best pillows I've come across so far in Laos! Wifi is excellent

The other major for me is the free mini bar, restocked daily ( don't expect miniatures) with beer laos and soft drinks. And beyond belief.... there is a mini cafetiere in room... amazing!

Airport pickup was in a classic Merc, I used to drive around in these a lot when I was younger and still believe these to be the most comfortable cars ever made

I've got two more nights here and have a room at the front, the noise from the road isn't bothersome at the moment so fingers crossed it doesn't start to be a problem.

I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!! - Good value, tranquil, lovely

This hotel made our first trip to Laos very pleasant for the following reasons: friendly, accommodating staff; picturesque setting; clean, comfortable room; outdoor dining overlooking a river; walking distance to restaurants and tourist shops. Cruises on the Mekong River and tours available through the hotel. Hotel's vintage Mercedes with driver may be hired.

Room Tip: Handicapped-friendly hotel; ground floor rooms available.

We extended our stay here as we had the best service and a great room. We stayed five days. The Manager and her staff made our time here so relaxing. The food at the restaurant was 5 star. We enjoyed eating on the deck overlooking the river. We ate all of our meals here as they were so cheap for the quality. This hotel has the best location in the old town. It is very quiet and easy walk 5 minute walk to everything in the main part of town. Bicycles are included so it is great to ride to morning markets. I would definitely stay here again. It has all the little extras that makes this great value. The best place to stay if you are coming here. We stayed in two other places and this was the best value with personal service.

Room Tip: We had room 503 was a deluxe double room with a king size bed with balcony and views of the Nam Kahn...
