The Hotel picked us up from the Shampoo Cruise at the Luang Prabang boat dock on arrival from the Northern Laos border town of Huay Xai and took us swiftly to Le Sen Boutique Hotel just outside the Old Quarter where we received warm Loa greetings and a welcome drink. Although the Hotel is a tasteful contemporary design it retains traditional Lao features with balconied or patio rooms set around a landscaped feature swimming pool plus a superb partially open sided restaurant offering semi alfresco dining from a delicious speciality Lao menu.
The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and thoughtfully designed having ultra modern bathrooms with dressing gowns and slippers.
Breakfast at Le Sen offers an excellent choice of breads and pastries with Western and Asian hot dishes accompanied by great coffee and a superb range of fresh fruit.
The hotel offers a peaceful and tranquil location with a regular complimentary mini bus service which takes a mere ten minutes to and from the Old Quarter temples, Night Market and main attractions.
However, possibly the most outstanding quality of Le Patta is the superb Staff who are friendly, attentive and informative but more importantly courteous. I would particularly like to thank Noi for all her, humility, friendly attention and kindness as well as her personal airport drop off for our flight to Hanoi.More
