The first thing you notice when you are greeted by the welcoming staff, is the smart design and layout of this lovely hotel. I had b-04 and loved being able to step right out my door into the beautiful pool. But all the rooms seem to be set up in a similar fashion. Everything is kept very clean with great attention to detail. All materials used in this new property are from local sources with nice design touches everywhere. Breakfast is extensive, fresh, and made to order. The food in the restaurant is great and even cheaper than many places in town. The friendly staff had even set up an informal cooking lesson for a couple that had fallen in love with some dishes that they had there. The laundry service was fast and quite reasonable.
Being a solo traveler, I really appreciated that the management was so personable and concerned about my well being. All the recommendations that Joffrey gave me were spot on.
The shuttle into town was very handy, though it's an easy bike ride or walk. Luang Prabang is a special place, I hope to be able to return and stay at Le Sen

Room tip: I felt lucky to have a downstairs room, being so close to the pool

Very friendly staff. The gardens and pool area were very nice, a great place to relax after a day sightseeing. We had dinner in the restaurant and the meal was outstanding. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we will surely stay again when we return to Laos.

Room tip: i had a room that opens up to pool area, very nice

This is an incredibly charming small hotel which only opened 2 months ago. Spent 3 days here - very comfortable, brand new everything, lovely helpful staff and excellent food. Can't recommend it highly enough and at $95 a room its extremely good value... Swimming pool - and excellent air con...

Sara, London

Room tip: All the rooms seemed well placed - all light and bright... ground floor ones open onto the pool...

After a couple difficult experience so far in Laos, Le Sen has completely changed our entire holiday experience. They went out there way to make us feel welcome and I cannot recommend this hotel more! I am sitting here with a BeerLao on the wooden deck at the pool, the beautiful lanterns overhead, and I feel completely relaxed. Nice rooms but it's the great staff that has made the difference. Keep it up

Four of us spent four nights early February and thoroughly enjoyed this place. It is a calming stay and the people who work there are wonderful. Our room on the second floor did not have a lounge chair, which all the ground floor rooms did have. So I would ask for the lower floor, which gets plenty of light. There are lounge hairs near the pool for the use of anyone who wants, but it was nicer at my friends room with the lounge chair right outside their door. Ultra modern bathrooms were a pleasure. Breakfast was fine, not a tremendous selection but what they had was good quality. They will make pancakes and eggs for you right then and there and the yogurt and fruits were good. If you like the VIetnamese Pho they also will make that for you. We all enjoy walking so did not mind the 15 minute walk to town and back and never took a cab or tuk-tuk, both of which are available.
