What a beautiful Temple! Too bad I had only 30 minutes there and could not learn much in details. Will certainly come back!

Easy to walk to from town. Worth a look round. Take a scarf to cover your shoulders or rent one at the entrance.

Luang Prabang has many temples. While most are very interesting, this has to be close to the best in terms of sheer beauty. Rich in gold, Buddahs and history it was quite breathtaking. In particular I loved the mosaics. They were intricate and reflected many stories of past times. An easy walk from town, this is a must to see. Lots of photo opportunities. Toilets are available for public use.
