2 locations, right off a side street by the cultural arts center or also by the Mekong riverfront (where we ate). I presume the other poor reviews came from people who did not order the Lao BBQ. We had one order of this which was delicious... Similar to Mongolian BBQ or shabu shabu, where a bed of hot coals heats a metal bowl filled with hot water that becomes soup as you fill it with vegetables and absorbs the run off from meat you grill yourself. I also ordered a curry dish that was quite ordinary and a shame that we did not just load up with more meat for the BBQ. At 40,000kip for the bbq really quite worth it (only 25,000kip more for an extra plate of meat). A nice experience right by the Mekong!
