The hotel has the old time charm and yet modern. I loved the place. It’s beautiful and the best location I could have asked for. It’s little expensive than other options but worth its money. All the best cafes are right outside.

We passed by several times, noting the hotel, its menu, and numerous selfies taken in front of their street sign. Several days, later we had dinner at the Villa Santi Hotel on the terrace overlooking the street. Service, food and view were wonderful. Dinner was followed by a tour of the hotel. Our next trip to Luang Prabang should include a stay at Villa Santi Hotel.

This hotel is in need of an update, but the staff does as best they can. The tiles in the front entry lobby are broken to pieces but the staff diligently cleans them anyway. The hotel is in serious need of renovation but the air conditioning works well and you are within walking distance of most of the cities sights.

My room was half a block away (and across the street) from the front desk. I could hear people in the room next to me until I turned on the air-conditioner. The air-conditioner drowned out most noise is except for the monks that beat on the drum at 5 AM across the street.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was nice and included eggs made to order.

My room was dark and it did not include a balcony. So this hotel is not good place to book if you want to just hang out in your room. You had to repeatedly log into the Wi-Fi and it was slow. There was an area that was kind of like a pool but really you could only put your legs in because it was so small and shallow.

There is a free shuttle to the resort area which had massages. I wasn’t explained what was available at the resort or might’ve gone on the shuttle.

We stayed at the Villa Santi for 3 nights from 21/10 - 24-10 as part of our Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam travels.
Upon arrival, we were wowed with how beautiful the hotel looks from the outside, with lovely well-kept grounds. We had a friendly check in & were made to feel immediately welcome, receiving a welcome drink.
Our room was spacious, clean and safe, with a huge comfy bed! They put a lovely heart decoration on our bed, which was a lovely gesture. It really was a beautiful room, which made us feel comfortable in an unfamiliar country. Complimentary water was replenished daily and the maids were great!
Breakfast was superb, with enough choice and quality food on offer to ensure that we were ready to explore for the days. An omlette station and attentive staff made it 5* - tea and coffee top-ups without needing to ask.
The location was perfect - right on the main street, where you will find the night markets and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.
We didn't make use of the spa or pool, as we didn't have any information in the room about what facilities we could use for our stay. We didn't have time anyways but i'm sure if we asked at reception they would have been happy to help.
Overall, I would highly reccomend the Villa Santi Hotel if you are staying in Luang Prabang :) Thank you for making our stay in Laos a thouroughly enjoyable one :)

Our stay at Villa Santi was perfect in every way. The room and hotel itself was absolutely beautiful, furnished with beautiful teakwood. The staff was as friendly and helpful as ever. Location is prime, walking distance from the night market, Mt. Phosi, and the Mekong. They offer tours and excursions which we went on. They provide an alms giving service if you decide to take part in the early mornings. An overall great experience and stay at a beautiful hotel.
