The curfew in LP is 12 midnight, but this place stays open until 2 AM. A true bowling alley, this place does not offer anything special, but the people you choose to go with make the experience.

So worth going to, especially if travelling in a group or just off the slow boat. Everyone congregates here at night after the curfew closes all other bars.
Cheap booze, bottle of whiskey only $2/€3 and bowling is only cheap as well.
Tuk tuks will know where it's at and if you pre arrange a price they'll wait for you outside as well.
Asian style toilets (squatting) but hopefully you'll be drunk enough to not care.
It's open till 2am.
Footwear: flip flops or bare feet of course!

Ok this is how it goes at 11.30 there are no more places open in Luang Prabang that serve drinks so this bowling place outside of town is the only choice if you want to continue your night out. When you walk in is apparent that almost everybody inside is drunk, bright lights and loud music the bowling is ok its a bit of a bizarro world loads of drunk foreigners some locals its fun a bit weird but ok for a night out. You don´t need bowling shoes we use flip flops.

It's the only night place in the area as the curfew forbids drinking (and being out in general) after 11.30. So some smart guy opened a bowling place just outside the town. I expected it to be a little more pricy but more organized as one can make a fortune running such a place properly. In fact it's just a bowling place (but here you can forget the rules of the game, in other places you pay fines for stepping across the lane line, here you just go all the way to the pins if you please). Just grab the shoes if you want or play bare footed... You pay for a game per persone (20.000 Kip) not for hours. Nothing special about the place.
