The hostel is a it out of the main area, but you can get there in 10-15 minutes. We stayed here to save some money. The double room was ok and clean, we even had wifi. We had the feeling that we were nearly the only ones using the shared bathrooms, so that worked well for us. The bathrooms could have been cleaned more often, but it seems there is only one girl working. It was a bit noisy since the walls are very thin and we heard everything from the second house behind the main house (they have two buidlings).

The only reason I stay here, is because I had no other option. Though the room was cheap the ventilation was very bad. I could not sleep well as the mattress was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was a real downer.

Room Tip: Do not stay here.

3 of us stayed here after moving from another guesthouse that said they had triple rooms and clearly didn't. This came up as an alternative and looked ok.
The staff are pretty unhelpful and my very friendly. Couldn't work out If its just a language or cultural barrier but nonetheless not helpful! Rooms are basic and you have to climb a very steep wooden staircase to get to the room.
A fan in the room is adequate, and rooms could generally do with a bit of tidying.

The staff could not speak English. Wifi connection was available only at the reception area. The rooms had really thin walls that we could hear everthing from the other rooms. The water pressure was so low in the shower. Its about 10 minutes walking to the main area of the place. Will never recommend or stay here again.

We booked a double room for 4 nights. It was sp noisy. You could hear everything from the rooms next to you. Wifi didn`t work at all. Staff was unfriendly and not really helpful (didn`t provide a map or anything else, couldn`t improve the wifi problems).

Stayed here in Feb 2013.
Paid around 8quid a night (for a couple) and stayed in a private double room.
The bathroom is located downstairs (shared bathroom) and unfortunately there is only 1 shower and 2 toilets.- however this was not really a problem and i never really had to wait to use either. The shower is not very powerful- though was always hot. Its kept clean and always stocked with soap and toilet paper.
This place is located near (though not too near) within a 10 min walking distance to the nightmarket, riverside, bars, restaurants and cafes.
The only complaint really would be that the staff get up very early in the morning around 7am and talk and shout loudly in the corridors and receptiojn?!! - highly irritating! seem to forget people are paying to stay there. And they also lock the doors very early at night! around 10pm but this was not a major problem as you just bang on the door and they come let you in.
