Description: Excellant french bakery which also has a branck in Vientiane. Has over 30 types of bread & pastaries. Open from 6.30AM to about 9PM. Very good coffee. I am a regular there for my morning coffee & pastry. I can upload a photo.

Me and my partner went there for breakfast after reading the many positive rewievs on TA.

Well, let's say that we were extremely disappointed with the coffee quality, the pastries flavor and the so-called service.

For once, there was no music playing in the cafe which made the atmosphere a little awkward.
The waitress had the worst attitude ever and the other three guys could barely speak any English.
As for the croissants, well I would have enjoyed them better with a nice coffee and if served with a smile!

I heard about this bakery from a French tourist who said it was the best bakery outside of Paris. I tried it and loved it Great bread and pastry.. As a result, I went back every day. One tip: Go in the morning. The selection dwindles in the afternoon and most of the options are gone by mid afternoon.

Don't look for other place for breakfast, the best bakery in the country and probably in the region...perfect croissant and breads, top coffee from laos served in European taste, this is it.....forget about the other "so called bakeries" they are a world away in terms of quality and authenticity....

Fresh and warm chocolate and almond croissant definitely hit the spot after the alms giving! Definitely worth a visit!

Really enjoyed breakfast here. Plenty of charm with the old photos and interior. Breakfast was good. Orange juice and croissant lovely, good espresso. Mrs M felt the capuccino needed more foam though. Price fair for what you get.
Also good selection of magazines to read through, particularly enjoyed the cycling magazine reliving Sir Wiggo's 2012 tour de france exploits. Allez Allez!
