It was OK. Service a little slow and food OK - we liked the fish stuffed with pork and cooked in banana leaves,

Thank Carence

I sat out the back in a lovely garden area. It was a bit cool so they had small fires going. After a while it began to spot rain and the staff ran around erecting large umbrellas, I didn't think that the rain was an issue but it was good that they cared so much.

The food was lovely, I had a soup, salad and a dessert. Price wise it's probably middle of the road for Luang Prabang and the service was very good.

Good service, but never, ever order wine from here. We decided to come here on the basis of an excellent tarte au citron a couple of days ago. The waiter was very helpful and tried his best and our experience was certainly not down to him.

The food was passable enough (having eaten at a range of places from basic to top notch over the last few days in LB). However, the wine was a different matter. The first bottle we ordered, a Sauvignon Blanc, was sickly sweet and we had to send it back, not something we do very often. We offered to pay for a carafe, so we could chose something different that would be more enjoyable. They did let us choose another bottle of wine-and we chose a chardonnay. Unfortunately, the 2nd bottle tasted even worse like the rice wine we had at the Whiskey village on the boat cave tour and was so disgusting it was undrinkable. We later discovered that the cap did not even fit the bottle!!! This was the 2nd most expensive bottle on the wine list....

We dined here on our last night in Luang Prabang and wished we'd eaten there sooner so that we could go back again!

The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend eating here but it is very popular, so remember to book ahead.

Excellent Lao food including pork and buffalo sausages and a Lao version of Brulee made with pumpkin, coconut and pandan. Well worth a try.
