“What an experience!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

This was the best night market we have been to. It was filled with booths and the people were not pushy but willing to haggle. The food was great and the overall experience was just plain FUN!

“Old Asia”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Luang Prabang is a very charming and quiet city. You would feel as you were a little bit out of the modern world.Old houses are now shops, restaurants, bars, travel agents.People are friendly and do not push you to buy there merchandise.Food is very good in many small restaurants.Night market is centraly located, where you can buy all kinds of local handcraft and also have a nice street food meal. For breakfast or a light meal, give a chance for local baguetes and mixed juices.
A boat ride in the Mekong river, wich is at you ddor, can take you to small villages and 1000 Budhas cave.Ride and take a bath with your elephant,is not to be missed.

“Definitely worth a visit!!”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

The night market in Luang Prabang was one of the best I've seen in SE Asia. Great food, we got a massive plate of local food for only US$2! Haggling was good fun too, there were lots of crafts, paintings, clothes and collectibles. I feasted on crepes and freshly blended fruit juices too. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Luang Prabang!

“Nice place explore on warm nights”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

I'm not much of a shopper, so don't take my middling review as necessarily a bad thing: it's just not really my thing. There were plenty of the standard vendors you see at many of these local night markets all hawking the same goods. The trick for us is to look for the lone places that sell unique items. They are hard to find among the booth after booth of matching t-shirts or the same traditional-looking but clearly mass-produced items, but there are some real gems of art and local crafts.

Plenty of vendors selling delicious street delicacies from local style foods to packaged ice cream bars, so you'll not run out of things to see and try at this bustling night market.
