We used to be regular customer here 2 years ago. We are coming back to try the new menu dishes which are Chicken Liver Pate, Beetroot Soup, Tagine of young goat, and Pork Chop. Of course we very... very...satisfied with the quality of the food and the way they cook. Chicken liver was remarkable. Beetroot soup was so light and tasty. Of course come from organic garden. Young goat tagine was so tender. Pork chop stuffed with raisins was so tender. So far i think this is one of the 5 stars best restaurant in Luang Prabang, Laos. Nice ambience and very friendly staffs. Price is not over the top. Drinks and wines are reasonable price.

We will come back soon definitely.

Walking in I was dubious - "oh, it's a hotel lobby restaurant...." But decor is elegant pan-Asian, stylish, enough to say, "let's try." So glad we did! Best dinner we've had in a week here, will definitely be back a couple times to try all the variety and intriguing combos - not a huge menu, but very interesting mix. We tried...
:: Chicken w/ chili-cashew: Scrumptious, Thai-esque, bright sparkly flavor, not spicy. Crunchy+sweet+tangy...

:: Mussaman buffalo curry: Rich flavor, layered, tender. Not sure what kind of potatoes (or something else) - not mushy/starchy like you often get in Mussaman curry, instead really added something special to this.

:: Penne w/ tomato & olive: Disappointing, not much to say other than "pass" on this.

:: Onion tarte w/ pesto: Totally unexpected wow. Fine crumb crust, pleasantly crisp. Onions fully caramelized and melting together. Pesto has an intriguing yummy brightness and a fine pinenut crunch.

:: Poached pear w ginger: Sweet, nice blend of spices, good w the coconut icecream. Didn't quite "wow" but definitely tasty, esp if you like ginger.

:: Bananas flambe (?): no flames, but great flavor, bananas in Laos are generally flavorful, these were extra good, and almost had to lick the plate.

US$50 for 4 of us, no wine/beer, so definitely more $ than many places in this delightful food haven, but well worth it.

......and ate the whole menu. The duck breast with lentils was the standout among standouts. Cocktails and desserts were shockingly good too. Service is like having a lao friend.

Just really breakout fusion food done without fuss. Best place in LP and I've tried them all.

I had a beautiful coconutty fish which was sooo tasty, I wish it had gone on forever, they also provided some lovely nibbles for free. We had a three course meal each with a cocktail for £15 each which for an equivalent meal in England i would price at about £200! I had an amazing lychee cocktail and was very happy with the service. I would strongly suggest this as a treat meal to backpackers or to anybody else!!
