Much that's on the menu here is based on traditional Lao cooking, but it's been updated to bring it to a level of sophistication similar to what's happened to Peruvian cuisine. My wife and I had a soup of Green Papaya with Coconut Milk, Pork with Betel Nut, and Larb, the Laotian standard but here exceptionally good. We liked it so much we went back a second night. There's a dining room with air conditioning but the best is to eat in the garden, surrounded by lush tropical greenery. The service was fast and attentive but not obtrusive, and the head chef came out to make sure everything was to our liking. Good food, a relaxing setting, what more could one ask for.
