If the inability to get reservations is a sign of success then Tamarind has made it. We were delighted to get seating an evening later than desired but only at 6:30. Nevertheless it was well worth the wait to experience the wonderful flavors and professional service provided. The staff has a good command of English and graciously offer advice the interesting menu which includes several pages on the food and culinary customs of Laos. Each of the entrees we tried were memorable and the open carafe of wine delicious. However the one dish which will always be remember will be the banana split made with yogurt and toasted coconut. Not only was everything delicious but also reasonably priced for the quality delivered.
