Walked across a rickety bamboo bridge at 5:58, not knowing it was free after 6pm, but it's ok, we don't mind supporting the bride that has to be rebuilt every year:) On the other side of the river, the oasis of this place awaits. Lovely seating area, nice lighting, by far the best food we've had in Luang Prabang. I had a veggie appetizer plate, and it was plenty for a meal - great riverweed and the eggplant dip was amazing! Nice, relaxed service, not too many mosquitoes, a great meal in a gorgeous setting - very special!
