I usually don't write negative reviews, but this place was a big dissapointment.

OK, the beefstew (stoofschotel) is realy good, and the waiters ar nice, but:
- You have to pay seperately for your French fries (16.000 k) and even your mayonaise (8.000 k), while the beefstew isn't cheap on itself (something around 65.000 k).
- The desserts are expensive (around 40.000 k), and not mutch special. The home made vanilla icecream had not mutch taste.

Witch, all together, brought our dinner for two over 270.000 kip for something not very special (and only one local beer).

I had this Belgium goulash (I can't remember the name) I was well cooked with the meat still having a bit of bite and not just cooked on till it falls apart. The Marsh was very nice to not wiped to death like a lot of restaurant are doing. That tiny little salad with the wonderful mustered dressing was so nice I even drank the leftovers sauce. The disappointed was the banana split. The ice cream was Home made but it had no vanilla flawer and no sugar in it and bits of ice.
But overall I would recommend the place. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Highly praised on TA, we arrived with great anticipations. Despite the great service we good average food.

They serve small dishes (we had to order an extra side dish to fill our stomach) and it's not that great. In short average food for a high (lao) price.

I would suggest going next door. Cheaper, same quality (Lao Lao).

Didn't know of this place and we were looking for something nice in LP, then stumbled on this one. Cool! Their French fries and chocolate desserts rock, and of course their card with Belgian beers speaks for itself.
Loved the atmosphere and food. Good location, nice garden and very friendly staff!

We have spent a couple of days in Luang Prabang and visited this restaurant twice. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and pancake/icecream for dessert. The food here is absolutely delicious! And unlike many restaurants, the portions are big enough so you don't have to order a second dish :-). The restaurant also has famous Belgian dishes such as beef stew (stoofvlees) and pork meat balls with tomato sauce (balletjes in tomatensaus), which unfortunately we didn't try but sounded great after spending two months eating rice and noodles! Friendly staff and owners. Warmly recommended!
