After a long day in Karachi, with the heat, the traffic & the crowd, it is good to go back to the hotel for a nice relaxing dinner.

Sitting in the lounge enjoying a coffee or a gold drink will take the edge away & put you back on track for the next day.

The mixture of cultures, visitor from different areas of the world will give you a chance to Miguel & talk to different nationalities.

It is rightly located for the town center & the airport,

Room Tip: Room on the Executive floors are good to be in, Spacious & well equipped,

We had a wonderful stay at Marriott Karachi. Upon arrival we were greeted with flowers and immediately upgraded to the executive level. The room was very comfortable and all the services were excellent. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

On entering the grounds from main road, you experience that you are in a war zone, a dozen gun totting persons everywhere, next you go through security check like heathrow. Reception is not bothered that a customer is here. Takes ages to check in, they take the debit card and block the money well over the top. Room is OK, but the bloke hangs around until you tip.
Breakfast is very limited compared to other 5 star, 2nd day 2 changes to breakfast, 3rd day same again like 1st day. Breakfast ok for 2 days only not fit for 14 days; all repeat.
There taxis are very expensive, yellow taxis which are reasonable are not allowed in the car park nor on the main road. Sorry we will not be staying at this hotel in future; they have rated it 5 star but it's only 3 star although they charge 5 star money

Room Tip: 6th floor upward, but it cost extra a lot

Good hotel, good services, but the furniture in the rooms of second floor are old and worn out. The staff is courteous and friendly. Their room service is average as the service gets so late after placing an order. The attached bath with the room was satisfactory but not up to my expectations as i was expecting something better than it. The dining hall on the ground floor is spacious enough to accommodate many people at the same time. The quality of food is also satisfactory but cannot be compared with other hotels of Karachi as the food quality here is lower than the others. The dinner i had there was not good but the lunch was better. The staff out there in restaurant at the ground floor is friendly and responsible. Despite of average quality of food, the breakfast they provided me was delicious enough to be called as a good one. the service of laundry is not so quick. You have to wait a lot of time to get your laundry items back to you. They take so much time in delivering the laundry service to the room. Overall, the performance and the services of the hotel are satisfactory. I would like to rate it 8 out of 10.

Received Excellent service from the staff of Marriot. I was a little concerned when after several emails to the hotel, I didn't receive any reply confirming my transfer from the airport to the hotel, even though each message was read. This however was the only problem that we had. However after contacting the head office, I was assured that the transfer was confirmed.

Check-in staff were excellent, quick and efficient detailing all the services that were included free of charge. 8th Floor Executive rooms are the best with lots of extras included. If you're not on a budget, I suggest you try out the Executive Floor rooms.

Breakfast - there was a large selection, sufficient to cater for most people. We didn't have dinners at the hotel as we were out most of the time.

A previous review mentioned the laundry service being pathetic, in all honesty, I found their service very good. You have to advise them before 09h00 if you have laundry so that you can get it the next day (or was it the same day ?).

A good choice for Karachi and definitely 5*

Room Tip: Book Executive Floor Rooms
