This hotel is in the centre of Mandalay. Convenient location for the Palace, the museum, the railway station. We staid there for three nights.
The staff is very Nice and helpful. The rooms are basic ( no wardrobe, but there is a fridge and kettle) but reasonably clean. There is also a flat screen TV with foreign channels like TV5 monde or HBO.
The Buffet breakfast is good and plentiful.
We booked a day tour to the three ancient cities with the Hotel (8.30 am to 6 pm) for 40,000 Kyats. The taxi driver spoke reasonably good English and the tour was very good. Taxi transfer to the airport is 12,000 Kyats. If you arrange for the hotel to send a taxi pick up from the airport it is 20,000 kyats.
For the price paid (about 22 GBP) per night, it is really good value for money.

We stayed booked for 3 nights in a deluxe room. On the 1st night we were given the spacious family room on the top floor which has an unlockable door leading onto a balcony. For our remaining 2 nights we moved to the room we had booked which was smaller but still large. The beds were large and comfortable. As observed by others the open shower means that the whole bathroom floor gets wet, however it drained well and dried quickly. The room was well equipped with soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, shower caps and water, coffee satchets and beer in the fridge which was off when we arrived. Pleasingly, the fridge does not turn off when you remove the keycard as in many other Asian hotels. There are plenty of power points but they are worn and you need to prop up your devices' plugs or they'll fall out.

Our rooms were clean but I felt the hotel could do with a good spring clean of walls, windows and floors.

The buffet breakfasts were typical of hotels in this price range. Fried rice or noodles, toast, croissants & jam, fresh fruit (delicious melon, bananas, pawpaw), fresh salad, juice, tea coffee. The food was prepared freshly each day.

The wifi was very slow and hard to connect but this is probably typical for Mandalay.

The staff were very welcoming and eager to please which is why I have given it 4 stars.

Good breakfast with a little variety each day. Rooms are clean and the staff was very nice. The staff was able to get me a taxi when I needed it and they booked my boat ticket from Mandalay to Bagan.

Bathroom is separated from the room with just frosted glass so it might be awkward for friends traveling together.

Wonderful and helpful staff! The biggest smiles welcoming us everyday from the bell boys. Good location close to the trainstation. Helped us book a nice bus to Bagan. Rooms are clean and good standard. Breakfast buffet is ok.

Rooms were really clean, water and coffee in the rooms, attached bathroom and friendly staff. Good breakfast too. In comparison to anywhere else we stayed in Myanmar it was great, and one of the cheapest.
