This is a great restaurant to try real Myanmar Food. The outdoor area is great with the floor sitting tables. The food is great, but it might be not everyone's taste, but if you try the mixed plates you get to taste a lot of totally different dishes even if you don't like all of them
If you go with more then 2 people it's better to experience the set menu

Typical Myamar restaurant where the locals eat. They only serve salads which are quiet spicy. No one speaks English there. Quality is good

The restaurant is specialized in Burmese salads. Great choices and they are all really tasty. We went there twice and tried the tea leaves salad, carrot salad, fermented ginger salad and tomato salad. The restaurant is kind of classy and very clean however the prices are really reasonable. 1000 or 1200 kyats per salad. Even though they say it's small plates. We were really full with 2 salads each and a steam rice ( 500 kyats).
Fresh fruit juice delicious and also cheap 800 to 1500 kyats depending on the fruits.
Service is really friendly.

Daung Lann Gyi is good if you are traveling with more than 2 person, as the size that they served comes on a big tray where many main dishes and side dishes are put in.. its in a way like serving inside the Palace to Royal's.. Taste is okay with local cooking style.

I have been to this restaurant with my development partner. Quite spacious and nice environment. Variety of choices and vegetable salads attract me most. Meat curry are sensational. What make me like about the taste is not too strong nor salty.
