Guide took us to this restaurant for lunch. Friendly staff, we ordered what we thought would be a small simple meal but the servings were huge and we couldnt finish our meal, we were given free starters and fresh fruit afterwards.

Thank Shar03

We visited here in March on a day trip to Sagaing on the suggestion of our guide. The restaurant is in the equivalent of a housing estate about halfway down the hill (which means no decent views) and is of very modern construction. It consists of one main building where the kitchen and toilets are plus a few dining tables, and two open-air covered dining areas at the side. I would guess it seats approximately 80 people. Clearly the place has been built specifically for tourists and is primarily a lunchtime venue.

The menu choices were Chinese with a smaller selection of Myanmar dishes. Food was cooked well and the portion sizes were large. Rice is served by waiting staff from a large bowl situated on a serving table in each dining area. The service wasn't particularly quick when we visited, which appeared to be down to the particular member of staff alloted to serve the area we were sitting in (the place was only half full). Toilets are very clean and western style.

As a guideline we paid KY4000 for Chicken with Pineapple, KY4000 for Chicken with Lemon Sauce, KY500 each for rice (unlimited topup) and KY3000 for a large bottle of Myanmar beer.
