“Oasis of calm and wonder”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

After the busy-ness of the souk, this is a calm cool place. The mosaics downstairs are really interesting and well-explained, the highlight being an ancient baptismal pool. The garden and courtyard upstairs is tranquil with jasmine and butterflies. Work was still being done on a display of tombs found in the courtyard during its reconstruction.

The Museum is a little hard to find as it at the top end of the Medina close to the outer wall but it is well worth it, plus you get to have a good look around the Medina

We went here after going to the medina - it's a nice relief after the heat of the markets. Nice pieces to see and takes about 60min,
