“dirty and crowded”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

I hated it, it was busy and dirty. The market is full of cheap tat, the stall holders were rude. Rubbish every where and people followed you around pretending to be your hotel waiter. Luckily our guide warned us that this would happen so we didn't fall for it. the only shop worth visiting is the soula centre where you can shop in peace and know that the prices are fixed.

“Som.ething different”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

This is an experience in itself. There is a lot of hastle from shopkeepers and the fish, meat and veg markets are something to be seen, There is also the jewelery centre to look around. Just outside the medina is the soula centre which is a nice shop to look around.

“Great place to haggle”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

The Medina is quite daunting at first but is well worth going around to see all the stalls and side streets, just be prepared to say "no thankyou" a lot.......

“A great experince”

Having been to Tunisia on several occasions, I know what to expect and I am Never displeased. As a matter of interest, visit the fish docks and see the fishermen unload their daily catch, I can watch it for ages.
