Our room at this hotel was very small, but clean and comfortable. It was more like a hostel than a hotel, as it was not serviced during our three day stay. We had to ask for soap and toilet paper after the first day, but then they gave us four rolls at once!
The location is excellent, with a terrace just outside our room facing the city walls. The air-conditioner worked well and was within our control unlike the other hotel we stayed at in Sousse. We had our own bathroom and the television had some English channels, including CNN. The excellent Restaurant des Peuples is just next door and we ate there for the three nights we stayed in the hotel.
Staff at reception were very laid back and often asleep - and sometimes not there at all - but this was probably due to Ramadan. The cost of a bottle of water varied according to which staff member was on duty.
There was no WiFi in the room, but it worked well enough to do email down near reception.
We moved to another hotel after three days here, but not because anything was wrong with this place. We just wanted a change of scene by moving to Boujaafar beach.
