We had a great day attending a wedding at the depot park across the street earlier in the day. We headed to the Alden Bar around 10 on a Sunday night and walked into an empty bar with plenty of employees. They didn't greet us or show any hospitality at all. Instead we were treated like a burden and had to keep reminding staff of our orders and break up conversations that the staff was having amongst themselves to get any food or drinks. As the evening progressed the staff turned mean and even elbowed a young lady and said "stay out of my way, I'm trying to work here". I have been coming to the AB for over 15 years and have seen the service and food go down hill fast over the last year or so. It seems they have no competition and have a corner on the market. Owners are never there and they just rely on random people coming off the lake. Soon people will remember the last experience they had at the AB and will go hungry before walking in the doors!
