If you decide to unwind and throw all your stresses behind, take a corniche walk at sunset. The smell of the sea and the feeling of the fresh wind on your face should do the trick.

Favorite part of Alexandria. It was just impressive to see whole lots of people day and night spending time there, sitting and talking and walking along Corniche, enjoying the beautiful sea view.

Alexandria Corniche, the old memories, the sea breeze, the sunrise and sunset, the beauty of nature, the best weather ever, the touch of the soft sand and the sea waves underneath you foot. the memories of our childhood and the sand castles to be rebuilt over and over again as the sea waves come all of a sudden and destoys your sand castle and surprisingly you laugh and start it all over again. Walking in the afternoon to watch the sunset when the sun embraces the sea in a scene that you will love to watch. A must go place where you will forget all you troubles and throw your sadness into the sea and return trouble-free
.
The Corniche, with all its beauty and exquisite ambiance - an unforgettable experience.

Come and enjoy the beauty of Alexandria and walk on the Corniche and don't forget to eat your icecream and Freska.

Love it

My wife and I walked the Corniche from the Bibliotheca to the Citadel. In addition, we walked northeast along the coast from the Bibliotheca/Seabride statue. I will write our experience and opinions of both.

Corniche--Nice views, photogenic: Our walk along the Corniche afforded us some nice views of the harbor, boats, fishermen, and the Citadel. There are many places where you can take beautiful photos, and the buildings along this stretch of road showcase some of the unique architecture of Alexandria (there are also a couple of foreign consulates and institutes). However, this stretch of road only has a couple of lanes on each side so there is a lot of stop-and-go traffic. There is also a lot of pedestrian traffic and tourists. There are opportunities to buy street food (roasted nuts, ice-cream, roasted fish), and there are plenty of restaurants, although most of the restaurants aren't on the coast and therefore any views are impeded by traffic. Closer to the Citadel you will find some beach areas, but most of the harbor is concrete cubes which are used to protect the coast from eroding. Go here if you're looking for a tourist spot where you can take great photos and enjoy a more interactive, city-like atmosphere.

Coastline between Stanley Bridge and Seabride Statue/Bibliotheca--Nice area for strolling: This part of the coast still runs along El Gaish Road, but there are more lanes for traffic to spread out. Traffic doesn't disappear, but there is a lot less stop-and-go traffic. While there are still pedestrians who walk the coast here, there is also more sidewalk and space for people, thus providing a little more privacy and relaxation. You will find many beaches and concrete cubes along this section of the coast, but there is easier access to the water here. Also, there are many restaurants, and most of them are on the coast side if you wish to eat next to the ocean. Go here if you're looking for a relaxing stroll along the Mediterranean.

One hasn't seen Alexandria until you have visited the Corniche area. Must history here and building which have their roots in a variety of nationalities are in various states of repair. There are some beach areas but quite a lot is rocky shore.

The heart of Alexandria... walk along the corniche on a summer evening or till late night with the sound of waves..can eat corn , sweet potato or coffee
Or walk aong the Corniche on a winter morning basking in the warm sunshine
Can relax and go towards the beaches adjoining the sidewalks
Choose from a number of restaurants overlooking the blue sea!!
Beautiful clicks for memories
