The library building, both inside and out, was impressive and also contained museums and art galleries; far more than we had time to fully see. The things found in the bay of Alexandria were particularly interesting. We were also given an overview of their website, which I'll definitely have another look at. We went on a Friday so the library was closed to the public and only available to people on a guided tour, we were then able to wander around all the other rooms on our own.
This was a highlight for us; if you go to Alexandria it's a place not to be missed.
