The hotel is owned by Gheorghe Hagi which is the best Romanian football player alltime. Unfortunately the hotel is not meeting the standards of a 4 star hotel. I stayed in a standard room at 3rd floor and I was really dissapointed by:
- the heavy smell of the sewage that was unbearable in the bathroom. I spoke with the reception but they did not do anything. Also my colleagues from the 3rd floor had the same problem.
- the bad quality of the food: there were lunches when I could hardly find something eatable: mushroom soup had a lot of flour while the fish had no taste.
- lack of wifi in the room; I travelled all around the world and I have not found any 4 star hotel without wifi in the room
- the money that hotel will charge you if you put any drinks or food in the minibar. The hotel charge is 10 euro per day. Really unbelievable.
On top of these the hotel will charge you also if you take a towel from the room and you bring it back. The standard rooms do not have lcd TVs and the quality of the image is quite poor.
For the hotel, customer service is not part of their dictionary and the main goal is to make money very fast without delivering the services required by clients. I would never return.More
