You step in Casa Rozelor and you feel like you're really outside time, in a different dimension. Everything is quiet, spacious, tranquil. All rooms are beautifully designed and give you a feel of home - there is nothing ostentatious or overambitious about the place, just a very refined decor. I particularly appreciated our terrace in the first room to the left of the entrance. Casa Rozelor is a great place whether you plan to stay a few days or much longer. It feels like home. The owner is incredibly helpful in explaining you what's worth visiting in and around the city and how to get to places that are slightly more remote.

Room Tip: All rooms are great. Not sure all of them have a terrace - it gives you a nice view and great opport...

The street was being dug up so we had some difficulty getting close to Casa Rozelor. However Gregor spoke to the policeman & we were able to unload our luggage with his assistance. Also he helped us turn in our rental car.

Our room was on the ground floor as requested but we had no noise due to the fact that the courtyard was inaccessible. The kitchen facilities came in handy although we were in Brasov just two days.

As we had an early departure, our cold breakfast was given to us the evening before. This worked out fine as did the driver that Cristiana arranged to take us to the train station & our platform for the ride to Bucharest.

The map with attractions & restaurants was useful in exploring the old town.

I didn´t see any other place that looked better than Casa Rozelor in Brasov. Give it a try & you should not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Ours was fine.

I highly, highly recommend this place for your stay in Brasov. I can't sing its praises enough. Centrally located just off the main shopping street, Republicii St. The place is immaculate and well designed. I stayed in Apartment 4, which was quite large, fully equipped with all kitchen appliances, great shower/bathroom, huge living area and nicely sized bedroom with comfy bed. It was nice to be able to shop at the local market and cook for myself. They really don't miss any details with this place. Very well decorated, combined with vintage items and modern conveniences. I would stay here longer, if I could. Staff was also terrific and had great recommendations on restaurants, etc.

Room Tip: I stayed in Apartment 4, which was nice. I think there are only a handful of apartments, and most ar...

This tiny hotel does have its attractions, including nicely decorated rooms and a great location just around the corner from the pedestrian street to the main square. However, the room that we were given was right on the courtyard with cars parked a few feet from the door. Other rooms up a flight of stairs and beyond the iron gate that seemed to mark the actual entrance to the hotel may have been better. The venetian blinds in our room were broken and stuck in the open position the first night, they got them stuck in the closed position for us the second night. The hotel does not offer any service on Sundays; breakfast is put in your room fridge the night before and you make your own toast and coffee, and there is no maid service. Same deal for breakfast if you want it before 9:00 am. on weekdays. We don't want this to be a whiny review about insignificant details, but our stay was very average, not the boutique hotel experience that we were expecting based upon other reviews.

Room Tip: Upstairs room, not one on the courtyard.

Casa Rozelor is listed under B&B but it really offers much, much more. Our apartment with a little kitchen and terrace was more like a small holiday home (Room 6). The attention to detail really made the rooms special, interesting, yet homely. The location couldn't be better and there is parking available for cars if one is driving.

Stayed here after no mix up with my booking. This was fortuitous as this accommodation (8) was spacious, having a kitchen, lounge and upstairs bedroom and bathroom. I stayed Saturday and sunday nights. There was no cleaning or breakfast service n Sunday but I was left with filter coffee, selection of teas, plate of cold cut meats and cheeses as well as a yogurt. On the Mandy I phoned after 9 ( you can request earlier in advance) and chose from the menu - I had natural breakfast and was very pleasantly surprised with the muesli, yogurt, fresh orange juice and plate of sliced fresh fruit as well as cappuccino -delicious. Rooms have unusual features, modern paintings and are colourful. I will load up a couple of photos. Reception is not manned often but the quality if the accommodation makes up for these slight inconveniences. Right in the centre of the quaint, medieval old town of Brasov.

We had a fantastic stay. Our room (1 out of the 3 the hotel offers) was extremely large, nicely furnished, and equipped with a small kitchen. Staff was kind and ready to offer suggestions and tips about anything from restaurants to nearby places to visit. Position is perfect: pedestrian area close to the main square and with an internal courtyard where it is possible to park the car. Only very small possible improvement: breakfast (very good) is not served before 9am. I would warmly recommend it.
