The most striking aspect of this restaurant is the 'garden' conservatory part that has comfortable couches and a relaxed layout. It literally is a conservatory with floor to ceiling windows and a glass roof, so lots of light. There are some nice palm trees and an assortment of attractive artificial ‘plants’ to add to the garden ambiance.
The restaurant interior is traditional for the region, more intimate but very different character from the light filled conservatory area.
On to food, I’ve only had pizzas and pasta dishes there. The pizza is excellent, a nice crispy thin crust with a good selection of toppings. The pasta is fresh and very well presented indeed. If you like things hot then ask for their piquant sauce.
The service is quick and friendly, the menus are in Romanian and English so it is easy for tourists. The espresso is delicious , well bodied and a good aroma.
One downside is the Men’s toilet; it is cramped, smelly and dingy. Be careful as you open the door as there is a big step down which is not easily noticeable. There is a warning notice on the door, but it really isn’t sufficient by any means. This is dangerous and the owner(s) need to give this matter some serious attention. This toilet does not belong in an establishment of this calibre.
