The folklore of the soldiers lying to their sweet hearts on this bridge that they would marry them upon their return from War, is classic.

Small but really cute. Find the legend, you're safe to cross it! Took some good pictures of the small square.

There is a legend that says that if anyone who has not lied in his life even once travels on this bridge then the bridge will collapse and they sat it has happened only once hundreds of years ago so if you have never lied don't go on this bridge. Otherwise all the liars are most welcome as this is called liars bridge.

...that if a man who said only one lie in his life was to stand on the bridge, the bridge would collapse. I work as a salesman, so as a man who never lied about anything, i haven't felt any danger walking over it. ;0)
