If you like art, you must see the romanian exhibition. It will let you voiceless! These artists would deserve to be more known over the world.
It is a must see, in the heart of the historic city of Sibiu.

There are many European masterpieces here, but our favorite part was the Romanian collection, and our first exposure to some excellent painters from Transylvania.

I was expecting more for the price you have to pay to get in here. The ordinary art work (hung in the rooms) is in places poorly lit and hard to see. The premium collection has a few nice pieces but the two outstanding pieces for me were the Turk Pasha in one of the back rooms and a cubist piece by Romanian artist Max Maxy

My wife and I enjoyed our visit to the Brukenthal art museum, with its multiple rooms of paintings on two floors by German, Austrian, Flemish and Dutch artists. The Brukenthal has a moderate amount of artwork on display, not so much that you feel overwhelmed or are exhausted after walking miles of corridors.
