Very disappointed - for 60 lv per night the conditions in the rooms should have been much better!
Room 4 stank of urine and the air conditioner had not been serviced for years (so the room stank even more). Wallpaper was peeled off in places, carpet was somewhat damp. My mother and my son had to stay in this room for two nights because when I asked to move them, I was told there weren't any free rooms left. Compensation of any sort was not offered at all!
Do not stay there – apart from the good location this hotel at its current state cannot offer you anything good for teh amount of money you'll pay!

Me and my colleague had to stay on for three days in Plovdiv.
Starting from the office I decided to book two nights at this hotel because my main hotel was busy. The phone was the owner and accept a reservation. The next day we arrived in Plovdiv
and went directly into the hotel. Upon entry into the so-called lobby, we saw that symbolic recepcion in overhaul and everywhere is full of debris and dust, among them the owner! There were no excuses and make us throw the keys to room 3 and 6. When I walked in the room wallpaper was torn, the bathroom with mold and the smell of dirty toilet. While I looked down to the lobby state and other rooms as they were with open doors. It was no different from that in which we dwell.
Followed by a spectacular scandal mob threats and insults at the bottom of the owner. Of course, we saved him this pleasure, but had to look for another hotel.

Room Tip: The best idea is to forget that there!!!!!

We booked this hotel because it was mentioned in several guidebooks, was reasonable in price. We don't like to spend a lot on lodging; we just want a clean, functioning room. One guidebook said the hotel was "stylish." Well, it might have been at one time, but no longer. The lobby is dark and filled with cheap jewelry. The reception desk is invisible until you realize that this really is the hotel and walk back to it. The staff is indifferent, and also nearly invisible. The hotel suffers from neglect and bad management.

Our room, a "double," was a twin. We had to take our suitcases up two flights of narrow, winding stairs. The room Itself was dark and dingy. Several light bulbs were out. The water from the shower made tour of the room before going for the drain. The first night, we were kept awake by loud women who came and went. This suggests that the reviewer who suggested that there might be more than one business going on here may be correct. The breakfast was unacceptable.

Good things about the hotel? It is well located and has good A/C. Everything else is bad.

Dali Hotel is not just a hotel as other business runs during your staying. When we arrived we had the impression that it was a kind of coffe shop or even a hairdressing salon (two young and skinny ladies with bored faces at the lobby and a bar). What we finally deduced from the strange stains in some areas of the room, the constant presence of young girls at the lobby and the abundance of hair from dubious origins at the bed it was that there was more than one business running arround.

Just to talk about the good points, the hotel is less expensive than the nearby hotel Bulgaria and the location is perfect. Breakfast is average for Bulgaria and the experience is funny if you are not fastidious.

We had read many reviews of this hotel and only really found 1 that we considered a true reflection on this site. the cheapest rooms are functional but very basic the small studio rooms are superb, we upgraded after peeping in on one. it does not cost much more but to us it made all the difference. comfortable and clean and well laid out.Breakfast is good and yes you do have to order coffee on the way down to breakfast but it is lovely. The staff are friendly, helpful and all speak excellent English. We will be returning in October.
