We went on recommendation from our hotel and we have no complaints other than the smoking but everywhere is like that in Herzegovina. Service was friendly and adequate but again, don't expect American style waiters here. Menu was in English if you don't speak Croatian. Good sized portions of Italian food cooked from fresh. Incredible value if used to London prices but there are cheaper places in Mostar. Well worth a detour in our book. Would come again.

ok listen now, italians who invented pizza don't make such delicious pizza as they do in megi restoran. THE BEST PIZZA I EVER ATE IN MY LIFE !!! Must try Tomato soup was extremely good. One bad thing is that smoking everywhere in Mostar is normal thing, it was discousting for me.

Up to now best in Mostar. Coffee was also great and waiters are very friendly. Great value for money.

We contacted our maid by our apartment with the wishes for our pizzas. She rang and 40 min later the pizzas was dellivered.
The pizzas were warm and realy good tasting.
Recommendable....

This is way out of the tourist area (a 25-30min walk), and is definitely local, not a tourist in site. Is a little more upmarket than your average spot though and waiter spoke very good English. We ordered a tagliatelle verdura, mixed salad, 0.5L house white wine, two chocolate cakes and two baileys. Everything was really good, in fact excellent. The house wine was above average, the tagliatelle and salad both delicious, good portions, and the chocolate cake moist. All in all if you want to escape the tourist haunts, don't mind a walk, and like Italian, this is definitely worth a visit.
