“Perfect to experience the Old City”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2012

After a 12 hour drive from Prinstina, Kosovo, arriving at Hotel Pellegrino was truly a welcome sight. Admir (the host on duty upon atrival) took great care to insure a quick check-in and provided wonderful instructions on how to find the Mostar Bridge and a place that would provide a dinner at 10 pm. The room was immaculate, cool, nicely appointed and all amenities were in working order. There is no lift, so he carried my bags to the 4th (top) floor. The dinner recommendation was exceptional - traditional food at a very reasonable price and a complimentary aperatif. The bridge is an easy five minute walk from the hotel with plenty of other interesting sights along the way. The breakfast was really a stand-out with the usual fare but also a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables in season. I felt the value for money was exceptional. I would go there again, and would suggest anyone traveling to Mostar to consider this lovely little hotel.

Location: excellent, 10 min walk from Mostar's bridge. You cannot miss it, as there are signs for the hotel all around the city.
Room: very clean and modern.
Breakfast: excellent, the best eggs and bacon I have had in years.

Do not get fooled into paying the 5€ parking, parking is available for free just in front of the hotel.

I only give 4 stars because I think it is a little bit overpriced for a country as cheap as Bonia.

Avoid this hotel. strong smell of sewer gas in the bathroom. female owner of hotel demanded extra money on check out. overpriced. mediocre location. would suggest staying closer to central part of old town, eg hotel emen or old town hotel (both better location, better value, and better management)

Room Tip: avoid the ones with sewer gas smell in bathroom

Stayed one night at the Hotel Pellegrino. Spotlessly clean, modern, great location in center of town. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff.
Didn't have any double rooms, gave us a suite at a good price. Huge room with 3 queen size beds, kitchen, huge bath, large balcony with view of city. Giant flat screen TV and excellent a/c.
Too much room for the two of us.
Still, the hotel is a bit pricey and you have to pay 5 euros for parking. Parking is an issue in an old town like Mostar. The breakfast, included, was plentiful and delightful with a nice blend of breads, salty cheeses and sweet dried fuit. Delicious coffee. Would have given five stars for quality, but price earns it four stars in my opinion.
Still great boutique hotel nicely situated. Large yellow signs all over town so it's very easy to find.

The location of the hotel is perfect, only a few minutes walking distance from the Old Town and the beautiful old bridge. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by amazing staff, extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was great, spacious and very clean. Definitely a great place to stay while visiting this gorgeous city.
