Panorma museums are something that the sovjets were good at. This museum is one of the better and gives you a good picture of the Siege of Sevastopol.
Another interesting Panorama museum you will find in Volgograd (ex. Stalingrad).

The diorama of the battle of the Balaclava Valley during the Crimean war is incredibly well done. They have guides who are fluent in English and the museum itself is small but the depiction of the battle is outstanding. It's a good walk up to the museum with some vendors outside. Worth the trip

The painting and diorama gives you a very good feeling for the siege in the Crimean war - our guide was a local so we were able to get full background to the history

I had the bad luck to be there when several tour buses were also there, so I had a difficult time going from point to point without waiting. Took at least twice as long as it should have. That said, I've never seen anything like it before. Very well done - except for the crowds.

very historical. Interesting. Worth visiting. We had to wait around 30 min to get an english speaking guide. She was good, there are a lot of old pics and things. There is also an armory, but it was closed at that time.
