The bus had less stops than usual for this type of tour but the trip was still really enjoyable. At the first stop it waited while you looked at the amazing mosaics, then at the next stop we got off for a half hour visit; could have stayed longer. We chose not to get off at the third stop as it was a beach and we were not going to swim. The highlight was the walking tour of Kotor's old city that was included in the price. Our guide, Bruna, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and gave a great tour. Overall I think this was a great way to spend our 1 day in port on a cruise ship.

To explore the hidden jewel of the Bay of Kotor, my mobility handicapped wife and I chose the open bus tour of the coastline. Our time was limited and so was our endurance. so a ride seemed like the perfect choice. We were not disappointed. The recorded noted about the sights, history and ambitions of the region were available to each passenger in almost any language with which they are comfortable. The 2 and a half hour drive gives one with an understanding of how this beautiful place has thrived for 50 centuries and a good base of knowledge for more in depth exploration.

Maybe the best way to visit the bay when youdon't have a car, but honestly 20 euro is not worth! Moreover I had a very bad experience: we stopped at Perast and as they told us there was a bus every 30 minutes we stayed there relax and having a meal on the beach. When we moved to the bus stop we had to realize after almost 2 hours that the bus would never came to pick us up!
The only way to go back to Kotor, then, was by TAXI and of course the only car available asked us for 15 euro (consider that in the morning we paid 20 to go from Budva to Kotor)!!!!
I must confess that they were very polite at the tourist office when we complained and they gave us bac the 15 euro we paid to the TAXI...but it was not that nice to spend 2 hours under the sun waiting for a bus supposed to leave every 30 minutes.

This bus tour is okay because there is not much to see or do elsewise. We went to see the mosaics where they stopped for 10 minutes then on to Perast. The scenery is nice but we arrived by cruise ship and saw basically the same thing. If you get off in Perast there is a long wait for the next bus. Also included was a city tour but the times did not work out for us. A bit overpriced.
