“Excellent gem of a seafood restaurant”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

Was recommended this place by our hotel and we were not disappointed.
Tucked in a very private corner of the Old Town, away from wandering and curious onlooking tourists (a common thing in Kotor), we were attended to very promptly by a fairly stern waitress.
That aside, my grilled seabass and my wife's grilled squid were out of this world ... freshness with wonderful seasoning, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Worth a try and it just adds to that special feel of a truly special place.

“Fine for Old Town but better food on offer in Kotor”
Reviewed September 10, 2013 via mobile

We ate at Cesarica for lunch and found it an underwhelming experience. The fish soup had more carrot than fish, but the actual broth was OK.

For main we shared dried cod with potato and traditional spices. The dish was generally OK but lacked seasoning and stand out flavour. French fries were pretty poor.

Prices are reasonable for Old Town. Service was slow, and the lady seemed a little rushed off her feet which was strange given that only a couple of tables were taken.

Fine for a quick lunch visit but nothing more.

“What a little hidden gem!”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Reading the great reviews of the place we struggled a bit to find it. Google maps do not show you the correct location, or at least not on my phone. Stari grad describes all the roads in the old town. If you stay leftish and follow the house numbers you will find it hidden away in a small alley.

The food is simple and very tasty. We had some fantastic stuffed squid and sardines! Really good honest food in a little restaurant by some lovely owners! Highly recommended!!!

“Good food at cheap price”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

We had fish dishes: risotto and grilled fish fillet; the risotto was very good, and also the grilled fish fillet was very tasty. it is true that the list of the dishes is not very long, but the fact that the quality is good, in my opinion is a more significant point.

“Food was good, but that's about it”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

We came here because the reviews were fairly good. The restaurant is hidden away down a little cobbled street in a lovely location. The décor is very authentic and traditional, however they didn't have a high chair for our little boy (so not suitable for families). It took a while for someone to come and take our order but when they did she was very friendly. The menu looked nice, however my husband tried to order the sardines but they were off the menu, he then tried to order fish stew, but again, it was off the menu. Even though this is frustrating at least we know they only serve fresh fish. Eventually we all ordered and when the food came it was delicious! Not an awful experience but there are better places to eat.
