You come right down to Dunavski park walking down Dunavska street from the city center! At this park you can enjoy walking around the swan pond or just relaxing at one of its many benches where usually couples come in the evening. Very nice park with a lot of greenery, flowers and some statues. It faces Dunavska street on one side and great building of Vojvodina Executive Council (one of the most beautiful architectural wonders in Novi Sad!). This park is after the city beach Strand and the Petrovaradin fort, one of the most favorite places for citizens of Novi Sad to relax.

The city of Novi Sad has taken the care to make plenty of parks among the buildings but Dunavski is definitely one of the top two. While Liman Park is more beautiful (imho) Dunavski is much more suitable for tourists as it is right in the heart of the town. Lots of benches around the pretty lake with two swans provide the setting for a break from the sightseeing. The only thing that it lacks is a good bakery (pekara) to buy a snack for your break.

Dunavski park is just like Novi Sad: not too big, calm, cute, relaxing, inspiring! There is a small lake, monuments to great Serbian poets Djura Jaksic and Mika Antic, and a beautiful monument to great saint of Russian land st. Sergey of Radonjez. There are many young people there and you can go for a walk there, you can take some beer and go with friends or you can go alone with book and some refreshments :-)
Must visit place in Novi Sad!

Dunavski park is not that big in size, but it is big enough to provide a nice refreshing chill in it's shade during hot summer days. Perfect rest from walk in center would be to grab an ice-cream from shops in Dunavska street, on the path to the Park, and sit next to the pond with Novi Sad's domestic pair of swans, ducks and turtles which are all happy to see new guest in park and pose for a couple of photographs.

There are enough benches, few fountains with drinking water, and several small paths for walk through the park.

"Dunavski park" is Serbian for Danube park. Located in the center a very beautiful town with Austro-Hungarian architecture and countless panorama views. The park itself is a very good combination of rural and urban approach to landscape organization, with lots of indigenous but also exotic plant species and just enough benches, taps and other urban landscape elements, not to be too much. In a park there is a muddy lake with turtles, frogs and two swans called Isidor and Bisenija - Isa (male) and Bisa (female). Also many monuments of famous people of Novi Sad and Serbia and lots of museums nearby makes it interesting tourist attraction.
Small kids will be glad to visit playground in the park, and grown-ups will find some interesting souvenirs.
