We got a great deal and tour on a trip from Sergey around the Crimea and back over to Sevastopol on our trip down there. I am into the history, and it was great to hear about the regional history Sergey knew, as well as some of the personal experiences from the 80s.

This guy knows everything about the area, how to get good deals, and is totally flexible in tailoring a trip for you. Sergey is also very trustworthy and honest. He is a safe bet for arranging things if you need reservations. I would recommend going through him rather than some of the official venues, which may be prone to corruption.

All in all, we had an awesome tour and got a great deal. Will do it again if I can get back out there....

We visited Crimea for the first time in September 2012 and it was very wonderful. We had a contact with Sergey Tsarapora via emails asking him two tours and also a transfer (for our return). With very prompt and responsible replies, all our requests were properly arranged. Luckily we were also guided by him for two days.
We were first met in Simferopol, and Sergey escorted us to Bakhchisaray (Khan´s Palace, Uspensky Monastery and Chufut-Kaleh Cave Town). Khan´s Palace was very exotic look and we saw lots of interesting interiors and exhibitions. About Chufut-Kaleh, the story of Karaites was also very new and interesting to us. After a lunch in Bakhchisaray, we continued our trip long way up to Ay-Petri. It is not an extremely high mountain, but a panoramic view of Yalta from the top was very beautiful. We also stopped at the Uchansu Waterfall on the way to Yalta.
On the following trip, we visited first the main sights of Yalta such as Livadia Palace, Swallow´s Nest (only from the viewpoint) and Alupka Palace. Livadia is already well known for the Yalta Conference, but we were also very impressed with the collections of the last Tsar and his family in upstairs of the palace where they used to spend sometimes as their summer residence. Alupka was also nice to see-interesting architecture, interior, gorgeous art collections and beautiful marble sculptures etc…Also a view from the terrace and the garden was very marvelous and fascinating. We continued our trip also to Balaclava (Underground Submarine Base), Sevastopol (Panorama Museum), the Valley of Death and Inkerman´s Cave Monastery etc… Especially “Panorama” was so spectacular and impressive! It is also worth to see. It was 10-hours long trip, but because of Sergey´s helpful advice and support, we could get to see so much more than we originally planned. He is an excellent guide. Also very knowledgeable (it´s amazing), reliable and very responsible as well.
Here is the information about Sergey- “private guide Sergey Tsarapora” at Crimea Yalta Tour (www.sergoyalta.at.ua). And his email is: sergo22yalta@gmail.com. You can get lots of helpful information from his webpage and it might help you get some idea for planning your trip.
Thank you so much to Sergey and Co. We had a very delightful and a memorable journey. Your professional support is highly appreciated!

My husband and I visited Sevastopol and Yalta in July this year as part of a Black Sea cruise. We booked our tours through Sergey via email and cannot fault his efficiency or commitment. He was able to accommodate our needs and tailored the tours to suit our requirements which enabled us to visit numerous sites that would have involved more than one tour had we booked a shore excursion through the cruise ship. Sevastopol highlights were definitely the submarine base and the Panorama Museum. His historical knowledge was excellent and it was great to chat to him about life in Ukraine which particularly interests me as it was my first visit to the country of my father's birth. Yelena our guide in Yalta was excellent and also had a good command of the English language. She has even emailed to me, on our return home, some photos of the palaces we visited that she had taken previously minus all the tourists and sourced some other information on my behalf. A highlight in Yalta was getting right up close to Swallows Nest. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend Sergey and his guides. Rosemary P.

We had Svetlana as our guide in both Yalta and Sevastopol. She had a driver and an air conditioned van, which was quite welcome as it was very hot.
Svetlana met our ship in both places. Her English was very good and was easy to understand. She was delightful! We covered more sights than anyone else on the ship. They were the sites I had requested of Sergey. I would not hesitate to use his company again and highly recommend it! His email is sergey.tsarpora@gmail.com. His web site is

Thank you so much Sergey for such a memorable visit and please thank Svetlana for us.
